Ausi and Ireland, the PIGS, no comparison fortunately. Definitely need China/India to stay strong, as does the world. House prices have defied gravity, in large part to under supply and the Tax system ie negative gearing and capital gains tax. Doubt any Govt will touch that one lol.
The prompt stimulus to the economy kept confidence and liquidity up and was well handled. That"s not to say an alternative Govt may not have done the same but facts are facts?
