It wasnt coal that saved Tas, basslink was down, they had to buy $40mill worth Gens at a cost of $20mill a month, luckily not for long. Why did they not have the water reserves to power tas, because they ran the dams low chasing $$$'s from the mainland prior to basslink outage and before the drought took hold.
