Yes during this transition phase coal powered generation is required to be up and running, let's not forget these assets were built and paid for by the Australian Taxpayer to do the job until there not required. If Private ownership is under investing in these assets to keep them reliable then time for the Government's to penalize them for unreliability!
The Australian Taxpayer was sold Privatisation of their Power Generation Assets was the most efficient way forward time for that to be the case!
