Our government bans competition to large American companies, allows those American companies to avoid environmental constraints, to engage in profit shifting, price -gouging and even has legislation to compensate American companies if government decisions hurt their bottom lines.

The hideously expensive military equipment our incredibly stupid defence forces buy from the US do not come with warranties, are often unreliable and in need of replacement prior to use by dates and underperform relative to massively cheaper alternatives.

We import dubious quality but incredibly expensive Old World US gas guzzlers and provide tax concessions to people stupid enough to buy them.

As if that's not enough, we follow America into the conflicts it exacerbates ... Korea, Vietnam, the Middle East and the illegal war in Iraq that John Howard told us was essential because of all the WMDs Saddam Hussein had - turns out Iraq had NONE at all!
