the main problem with carbon tax is not only $23 per tonne. it is not fix. it will go up each year until some sort of ETS come online when company can buy certificates from overseas. So money/profit from our tax is going to overseas company. How ridiculous.
ALP can not be trust. Mr Rudd said he would send all boat people back before election in public TV. But after election, he became so passionate to boat people and we have an open door policy. Result of it, many future welfare dependants came through the door. Mrs Julia said there would be no carbon tax in this election. But after election, she decided to impose a carbon tax. Result of it, Cost will rise every year and so our daily living expanses will go up as a result of it.
Only fools will believe the government will be keep subsiding people. People with nojob-low-middle income/welfare will benefit most from all sorts of government subsidies. So how about hardworking middle class Australian like us? No incentive to work hard. We might be better quit our jobs and apply for government pensions. My two children go to child care and I pay $80 a day. People on low income /welfare pay only $1 a day. That is madness. We working hard and paid a lot of tax. But our government and welfare system are actually motivating people to go slack. Our hard-earned money drains from our pockets and goes into people whose does not want to work/cheating the welfare system.
ALP is going to left wing again since Mr Rudd come onboard. With the green on board. I would like to wish them all become hippies and stay in the left wing for as long as their want. Next election the green/independents/labour will lloss their seats. Their policy is hurting too many hard working middle class Australian.
With this carbon tax, inevitable steel making will need go offshore and along with other steel/building/coal mines and many other carbon intensive companies. Some of these company (eg: coal fire power stations) will disappear. Many jobs will loss.
