I have to disagree.
Part of the problem with the policy is that is creates varying arbitrary winners and losers, the March 28th grandfathering , for instance, produces a quite unfair differentiation between people in similar circumstances.
I think grandfathering just makes a poor policy more acceptable in the short term.
And what sort of grandfathering?
Anyone who has a smsf, or just the particular shares in the fund at the time?
