In regards to O'conner, they are in a very safe labour seat ... 5.8%. They do not need Green preferences and should win this comfortably. Its the marginal seats which are a significant issue.
The Kyntire deal would have had significant due dilligance i.e. over 12 months. If Carps knew he was going to legislate, he would have had greens delay raising the bill by a few months
