It frustrates me we have to wait until January 2007 till we get a firm policy commitment from the Federal Labor party on uranium mining. I suspect something will have given before then. Who knows, maybe in the event of a market crash or serious slowdown in demand for our stuff from China (when the US capitulates), the Federal Libs will have good grounds and widespread voter support to act in the nation's interest and allow a sector that will continue to grow even in a global recession or depression to bring in much needed export revenue.
