Australia and proportions is absolutely a conversation that should be had more but I don't think it will head the way you believe. Our Gov of some period is using it's usual trick bag of deceptions to use carbon credits that were accumulated during Labors Carbon tax. Over that time our emissions were falling at an impressive rate. Once Tony Axed the tax they have been falling by 0.4% (still waiting for my power price cut) as opposed to over 4%. We are the only country in the world using carbon credits trickery and over 100 countries want them to be banned. So if we continue to be the rogue country in this global en devour how long until we become the target of sanctions and financial penalties imposed by other countries?
Our emissions compared to China or India are not really the issue. Its always the kid setting the bad example that get punished.
