I lost my love for bitcoin when the network couldn't handle the transaction, resulting in 40 dollar fees and transaction wait times of days. I know this has been corrected, but I do feel bitcoin failed in that it couldn't handle the transaction load.
But we learn from things like this, so I will never lose my bitcoin position, as it has the name amongst newbies, so it will be around forever, even if it has little use.
I have to love Ethereum. Fast transactions, low fees, and smart contracts. I really think Eth is a coin that can't go wrong, and I wish I had a stronger position in it.
