ATC will see the signing of its draft Term Sheet for the $70M loan facility with KfW IPEX-Bank and the project will commence in earnest. This is the natural progression of a project from the due diligence which the bank has already undertaken. Remember, it was KfW IPEX-Bank that actually proposed to ATC for themselves to lend the entire $70M for the project under a sole lender arrangement. This was as long as ATC could obtain insurance for the loan amount. This was already preempted by ATC who pre-signed a 10 year 100% purchase agreement by Mitsubishi, which greased the wheels for the German ECA to give pre-approval and actually increased their insurance cover amount from $40M to $60M. We are now well into the due diligence component where KfW IPEX-Banks representative Euler Hermes Aktiengesellschaft (hermes) is tasked with ensuring the project will be financially viable.

Hermes must have decided the project was financially viable, to the point where they have now stated they will increase what they are willing to finance from $60M to $70M. Insurance cover by the German ECA increased from $40M to $60M. Everyone in the circle of financial influence has given the tick that this is not only a viable project, but it is worth increasing the loan and insurance value of. In project financing stages, how often have you seen this?? Not often I would propose....

This project will be formally agreed to be financed this quarter, we already know the bank who will finance the project, we already know the insurer for the loan amount, we already know where the product will be sold for the next 10 years, we've already purchased the land which the plant will be constructed on, all with a product with a high demand.

FINANCE IS COMING!!
You will soon be tempted to sell once you see ATC share price multibag from your buy price, but don't take it. Hold you shares and wait for the dividends.

Nice summary Wanderdog. Also worth noting that the financial viability of the project (NPV etc) was calculating assuming standard interest rates on financing. Should they be successful in securing the ECA coverage, this will further improve the metrics.
