To be honest I don't see much consolidation that will include Waterberg. Quite a bit of interest in pulling Mpumalanga assets together, eg Keaton and Continental, Ichcor and Universal, Exxaro and Total.
Judging by other reports Mick Davis is looking at base metals in the Americas for his X2 war chest.
BHP's South 32 alo looks as if it will b in survival mode for next few years until the coal price firms (if ever).
