To me it’s sad that modern public health / medicine is criticised so much by some. Sure it gets things wrong and vested interest likely influence. I wonder if the multi billion $ alternative medicine industries have any vested interests too?
Without modern medicine life would be vastly different. Without alternative medicine there would be some differences but what specifically?
Let’s consider.
Less autistic children if no vaccination? Disproven, but if so ask parents if they would rather epidemics of diseases that kill or disable children or a disproven link to their loved one.
With vaccination, lower child mortality?
Proven.
With vaccination more side effects due to vaccination?
Doh.
Without vaccination more exposure to pathogens that could be prevented?
Please.
Alternative medicine is relevant and should be incorporated into modern medicine. Most recognise and will advocate if does no harm. See it every day.
Promote what you believe to make a difference rather than shout, stamp feet and carry on to try and disprove the proven, with risks identified if you choose to look.
