There's a lot of good people in medicine, but I've never seen an industry so ripe for overhaul. Has to start at the research level. So many of the medical researchers are off track it's just insanity. It's not a field which attracts bright people unfortunately (probably the lack of money on offer). Of course there are some exceptions but it's in a bad state. They're just not producing.
