They are placing a lot of hope in a placement to cover their shorts? Money they don’t even own. Majority of the 6% of short sold stock are also currently losing at the current price. Talk about rolling the dice on possibly the best growth stock on the ASX.
I don’t think a placement will happen for possibly another 3 months. We will need to see the cash burn in the upcoming quarterly but as per the half yearly they did have enough cash to cover them for a solid 6 months comfortably IMO.
with enough evidence to show the US is pumping insane growth they need to start to worry but hey by all means I don’t mind if they wait to cover. It means they will Incur heavier losses and I don’t have any care for shorters.
