Afterpay wouldnt simply stop the merchant using afterpay. but insteed have a multi teir service, ie if a business adds a surcharge then that business will forgo other benifits ie advertising, referals, marketing materials, inclusions into afteryay day ect.
this will easily prove afterpay is more than just a payments option as almost all business want the advantage and will give up on adding a fee for more business
