    I read a US article the other day saying the exact opposite. Apparently in the US Afterpay doesn't contribute positively to someone's credit score, only neutral (if all repayments are made) or negative (if late payments are made).

    From memory the same does not hold true for Klarna (or was it Affirm?) which can have a positive impact on credit score.
