As a different metric, I've also been tracking number of reviews left on Trustpilot for Afterpay. We all know their customer satisfaction numbers are just phenomenal, but also the number of reviews left has been very constant in the past few weeks, with a slight upward trend the last week.

Based on all this and Sezzle's report, I wouldn't be surprised if Afterpay comes very close to hitting their historical growth rates once their HY report comes out in August.

I think it's important to acknowledge that there could be negative reasons for increases in google trends. When you look at 7 day graphs it gives an indication on what have been rising enquiries. There has been an increase in people querying why Afterpay is rejecting them or why Afterpay is charging the first payment.

Just something to be aware of. There are limitations to google trend analysis.
