Key is to compare lockdown vs. non lockdown period, e.g. late Mar - early Apr vs. late Feb - early Mar.
I wouldn't expect overall spend will be up but not as grim as some has predicted.
Other thing to consider is that the crisis might speed up online purchase % for every age group and that BNPL may be the winner among the competition between credit cards, cash (debit, paypal) and BNPL during this transformation.
