If afterpay are offering money to argue with idiots on HotCopper I'll take the cash! Although a shareholder I do hope they would spend money doing something a little more beneficial to the business.
One of the main demographic being Millennials prefer a contactless transaction and rather not talk to a person. You used to have to call up the local pizza place to order, now it's Menulog or Uber eats. The pizza place used to deliver before the tech you just had to call up. nobody wants to talk to a person anymore.
I agree as I know for example almost Every time I shop at JB HIFI if I ask if they can do better on the price they usually knock off a few bucks. Surprisingly a lot of people out there regardless of being a millennial or not will not ask and simply pay list price.
I've even asked for a better price and they let me Afterpay it too!
