I suppose the concern I have for investors is the fact that if tomorrow,
Afterpay advised that they had signed up Walmart & Amazon, the share
price could well head north of $20. What I would want to know is what
commission rate Afterpay are receiving. If i rang Afterpay, I imagine they may
say "in confidence" applies. The commission could be anywhere from
.0001% upwards. So, as an investor, I actually need that information as well.
Yes, I could wait for the next half result, with an expectation of current
$12m EBTDA growing to $200m, but what if it doesn't, and the share price
tanks? With a PE north of 80, they can't put a toe, let alone a foot wrong.
