With the strong trend in customer growth it is important to take a step back and assess how big APT can become.
Using the AUD/NZ market as reference, assuming similar uptake as a % of the population in the US and the UK, and assuming APT announces Canada expansion in the near future (given trademarks have been granted), I see APT's addressable market for the NEAR-TERM below:
I think these estimates are conservative given that: - NZ market doesn't seem like it has matured according to merchant growth. - Different culture surrounding credit in the US post GFC. - APT made a point that customer growth has been more successful in US compared to AUD. -UK shopping is more geared towards e-commerce as opposed to brick and mortar. -Appeal to generation Z who are beginning to enter the workforce who have more need for the product Hence, addressable market is more likely to be Circa 12.5%-15% of the population.
Of course, these are just the countries we know of... where to next for APT? EU? Asia?
