I don't want to be a downer, because I believe in Afterpay and I'm way overweight in my portfolio on APT shares but I will say this. Be cautious when linking playstore/app store rankings to company performance.
This is reminiscent of a thread in NOR a couple of years ago where the share price went bonkers and there was general euphoria because it was consistently in the Top 10 in several country's downloads. If I now pulled up a chart of NOR it would be a text-book example of a pump and dump.
