I have a credit card and occasionally someone puts on a surcharge to cover credit card charges. Whenever it happens it really pisses me off. I think why don't you just charge me an extra 2-3% and not annoy me. I politely pay the bill but I am thinking on principle how can I never use that vendor again. Some vendors however don't care if they piss me off. Qantas come to mind. Also some utilities. I think most merchants will not pass it on. If they do they may start to find their Afterpay sales start to plummet.
