no chance they are funding development projects. They have stated this clearly. They are patiently waiting for divestment opportunities of producing assets. The same way they increased ownership of Maari. In the interim the two major shareholders and many of us want distributions. Any new asset is likely to be via non operatorship minority exposure so will not require huge licks of cash. In the medium term it’s hard to justify any excess cash going into anything other sweating the Chinese assets short to medium term. The infrastructure is in place , capex spent so every extra barrel is highly profitable
