why have the name horizon if not to look towards it? need another sweetheart in the portfolio. agree that spudding wildcats is off the table. they need to diversify away from china. otherwise they are a one trick pony. they should have snapped something up during the Covid sell off. they would be dirty for not pulling the trigger.
put $50m into another field say at 20% ownership. as the risk drops buy more of a stake. that gives them a 2-5 year timeframe. something on the horizon to justify the overheads...
