Of course they are taking on more risk by dehedging, but the fact that they are doing this seems to demonstrate their confidence that everything is on track to meet the December Quarter production target. Confidence which is stronger right now compared to when they hedged in the first place.
Maybe they feel they just don't NEED to hedge anymore, even if the PoG declines somewhat in the near term.
