I think that those that use the argument that the development of alternatives for Ree will affect the price of LYC is bit out there. At present the work being done on developing alternatives for Ree's is limited to say the least, while manufacturing industry though out the world is geared up to use Ree's. If an alternative was discovered in the next ten years which is unlikely, how long would it take to regear manufacturing for hybrids, ipods, flat screen tvs and the like. I dont see and alternative becoming viable and in common use in the next twenty years.
