My thought is that alteratives turn out more often than not to be like the cheap stainless steel which flooded the markets a few years ago,all twinkle and shine but no guts.
Ended up costing 2 fortunes to replace ,
Existing uses of REE,s is not going to change for many years Price points are going to be interesting but rumour and speculation will not change the facts.
Rare Earths have not had there day in the sun yet.
