321 and Jesse are both correct.
There are doctors who still indoctrinated that cannabis is the gateway drug to harder drugs and only pimps and hippies use it.
There are others who are progressive and sensible who will try it for patients who have no alternatives who are already sourcing it illegally and this is providing care to patients.
One thing is for sure. Its early days but true exponential growth will be in 5 years times when it will be mainstream and there will be more RCTs to back up its use.
The biggest obstacle will be the stigma associated with mainly older doctors.
