Lots of coal for everyone, but i doubt they will get that project off the ground. Besides, Altona is planning on using above ground gasification. Which is what SASOL uses. And it is extremely capital intensive, and extremely carbon intensive.

SASOL has been using this setup for years, and their Secunda facility is the largest single point carbon dioxide emitter in the world.

How would Rudd like that with his fancy carbon pollution reduction scheme just around the corner?

I think altona's market cap suggests that they're dreaming...
