Yes it is a long way to go back, it was on the 29/4/08!
Quotes $400-$600/t. I guess this changes on the quality and the quantity and could have easily moved up a little($700/t) now that Silica is back in high demand.
Those figures look good, there would be no to little processing(a bit like DSO iron ore), ship it direct to the smelter.
From memory, they need approximately 2 tonnes of silica ore to produce refined silica products. Those figures that rod quoted are usually for silica metal.
Could easily add 50c-$1 to the share price with a profit of $10m.
