If you believe that stocks are not priced based on earnings history and future earnings estimates, but by chart patterns then maybe you would short BHP.
If you believe that commodities demand from China and India and elsewhere will dry up in the next few months, then maybe you would short BHP.
If you believe that BHP management will be unable to manage their business over the next few years, then maybe you would short BHP.
I dont believe in any of the above so as far as I can see, BHP remains a hold and accumulate on pullbacks.
