Alex, there is not always a reason for these strategies. People do stupid things all the time and get away with it because most shareholders are not coordinated enough to do anything about it.
The directors should be issuing shares at 1 cent at least and underwriting it themselves to show some backing for the company they fought to own. I hope they're not paying themselves for any of this, I can't wait for the annual report to see their salary for this year from this company
