We are becoming a global society and nothing can stop that. It stands to reason that it will get much worse before it gets better. Pretty much every nation was forged via extremes of suffering and bloodshed. Even the US and their Civil War, the endless battles and invasions to establish a king of England, Qin's wars of unification in China to establish a nation in common. Tens-of-millions of lives lost, millions enslaved and dispossessed.

If you think about it immigration, be it political, religious or economic might in some way reduce the likelihood of an all-out conflagration. Even slavery of the African peoples dispersed them. The Irish were dispersed by English genocide. The Italians and Irish became the proxy slaves of North America while the South had the black races.

So globalisation is ugly but it is irrepressible and whites have had a good run, Asians will no doubt dominate the immediate future and I hope they can be kinder than we were.

Yes, the disparity of wealth should be seen as a crime against humanity. Why should an individual have a wealth that would place them perhaps in the top 40 countries? More than their wealth is the influence they peddle.

It's certainly an interesting time to be alive.
