    Yes mate, that's what I am hoping. However, I don't think we have yet been actually told that vision improves after the regeneration of cells in the optic nerve. For instance can the rat, whose optic nerve was severed, now see again? It may seem to be a naive question but it is a legitimate one to ask.

    Correct me if I am wrong.
