    because of T+3 you will not be on the record for another 3 trading days, ie next Wednesday, to get the EGP shares you needed to buy last Thursday, after which the price dived from $7.70 to $4.49.

    T+3 can make things a bit tricky, I have bought shares to get dividends but have missed because I missed calculated T+3. Live & learn
