Maybe a good trading moment coming up.

The Greens in the USA have requested a recount in the three close states won by Trump (basically Greens acting as a proxy for Clinton who doesn't want to get her hands dirty). The Greens need a number of millions to fund the filing of a recount (and somehow in a few days raised more than they did for their entire election campaign lol). There is strong suspicion that an oligarch Clinton backer Mr xxx maybe planning a game with the recount (his companies actually make the programmable voting machines used in the US). At least one filing has been lodged and Michigan is being recounted.

Now, if a recount in one of the first states to be recounted comes back with Trump losing - it indicates a big constitutional risk on the horizon, (as it isn't enough for vote counts to be reveresed but the electoral vote be accepted by Congress - which Republicans dominated, and some can be objected to and voted on.) So the permutations can get very messy. AND then there are states Clinton only just won, with high suspicion of illegal immigrant voting in large numbers for her - a recount could be demanded there by Congress. AND of course a reversal of winner in States raises the issue of legitimacy of the new winner. There WOULD be massive riots across the US orders of magnitude greater than the anti-Trump ones (which were/are actually funded by another of same oligarchs companie, MoveOn), this time by Trump supporters.

So any indication that funny things are going on with the recount, or winners changing, will create great uncertainty and constitutional crisis - and should be very good for gold.

I am watching closely what is going on there, looking for a selling opportunity should events turn bad and we get a strong temporary gold spike.
