I agree with you All4One re the gold price. Interesting to note that todays announcement indicated the shares were purchased on 15/4 which was monday, despite the fall in the gold price. Of further interest today, to me anyway, was to read that, despite many pundits/brokers making statements that gold is now on the way down, "the gold bubble has burst", the Herald Sun economics writer Terry McCrann contradicts that belief, with a sub-heading for his article today being "The traditional safe haven will outlast the herd mentality". In the latter part of his article he states - "To believe that gold is "over" you have to believe in fairytales". He then goes on to complete the article by going through the various aspects of why in a mildly sarcastic way such as - "Crudely, and simplifying, that all those budget deficits, and especially the US's, are going to disappear almost instantaneously". I still believe we have more to look forward to.
