I would hope that a RC was wide enough to get to the real issues. Not a red v blue head kicking.
Seems to me that a lesson here is that disasters should be led by experts not politicians. Politicians have their place but their expertise isn’t fast logistics or quickly mobilizing response organizations. D day wasn’t managed by Churchill.
Bushfire, cyclone, plague, war should have an army general leading. The red v blue stuff can stay with the politicians.
