Great Post. What I find interesting is the complaints from "environmentalists" to fracking is gas will get into the water table. If the gas is erupting at the surface it will have passed through the water table, if there is one. In either case it appears that fracking could have no effect. Would any poster, with more knowledge of these issues, such as PSI, care to comment on the phenomena MOngy has described and the possible effect on a water table?

Would it not be correct to say that the NT Government's ban on fracking in this area of the NT be superfluous? Also, a ban on fracking in all areas of the NT is a stupid policy?

Would like to hear your comments.
