Gemena managing director David Gillespie writes in todays Australian that regassification terminals are logical and timely solution to deliver new financially competitive gas to eastern states, His argument implies the proposal for an Amadeus to Moomba pipeline is costly, untimely, and unnecessary. It would be interesting to know if Amadeus gas could be incorporated into regassification terminals scheme via Darwin ? Is that an engineering, timely, financially competitive proposal. CTP CEO mentioned he was about to speak with SANTOS about plans for drilling Mount Kitty etc., last time he spoke. I wonder if Santos would like the idea of partnering with regassification terminals ?
