hmmm - perhaps like there's been a reason for non-renewal all along.

The Board has found a law firm (apparently within hours of receiving the Notice) which endorses the view that there is no valid claim ..... this in itself doesn't mean much - they'd hardly retain a Firm that would say otherwise!

To me, the Q is : how long is it since the claim arose? If the claim has only surfaced to the Board / Namibian Mines Dept recently (Feb 17th) as appears to be the case as it has been repeatedly stated that the delay in Lease nenewal has been a purely Namibian Mines Dept administrative matter), then, as I understand the Law, a claimant that does not come forward in a timely manner, loses the right to lay said claim, & it's thrown out. I'm no lawyer; it's called malfeance?

MLS supposedly acquired the tenements 2+ yrs back, & any dispute as to acquisition should have been brought soon after.

Unfortunately, if this has been simmering for many months, then it could turn into a lengthly process.
