    Amalgamated Property Group, through a wholly owned subsidiary, is accumulating a sizeable chunk of Charter Pacific. They commenced buying on 26/9/05.

    At 2/2/06 Amalgamated held 5.35 M shares (7.45% of CHF), paying an average price of 39.5 cents per share (adjusting for the 5 cents a share capital return received on stock purchased prior to the 24/11/05 ex-date).

    The most recent notice reports 790,061 shares purchased for $330,855 (at 41.9 cps), taking them to 7.45%.
