I personally can't stand smoking and think that many very risky activities that people partake in for leisure are idiotic - but I don't think that if these people end up in hospital because of their actions they should not get treatment. The doctor may be furstrated by the choices of others but he doesn't get to discriminate on who he treats - at best in the absolute worst case scenario in a triage situation he has to choose who has the best chance to survive not who's situation he believes in the most.
