Oh dear CB.... I have been away a few days and now see that we are back on a Morales as a big "potential" SOCIALIST ogre fantasy.

There will no doubt be various US leaning journalists who see it to their advantage to write these sorts of assessments.

From looking at other various, less biased comments we can find that the "nationalisation" that Morales has introduced has been fairly low key and reasonably fair.

The iron test of that situation comes in the fact that since that "nationalisation" swerve a few years ago there has been a continued growth in investment by some very large overseas companies in some very significant projects in Bolivia.
They do not seem to be put off. And you would think that they would be the first ones to be put off.

Despite the link between Morales and Chavez it does not make Morales a Chavez.

Scare tactics for the sake of scare tactics is cheap.
I personally can't be bothered with those that indulge in it.
We have had it before on this forum, as you well know. No doubt we will have it again. But both of us will take such shots for what they are worth.

You either have faith in the management of the company assessing any political risk or you don't.
So far RAU management appear to be working along just fine with the Bolivian administration.
