Now I may be right and I may be wrong but from my observation the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" tick is not immediately credited to the poster's post.

Yes the sysyem acknowledges that your "vote" has been accepted or recorded and you get one of the symbols coloured on the drop down window to indicate that but when you look at the post it has not been activated.

I find that if you go to another share page and then come back immediately then you will find that the "thumb" signal has been activated on the relevant post.

Try it on this post of mine and see if it works for you !!!!
