Anderbond..the 3 major reasons for any investment in my view are management, management and management.I too have met the majority of the board and I was satisfied sufficiently to invest over 3 years ago. I have since added sustantially to my original investment. Like you, I reckon that Siana is a cracker and that Mapawa could be even better.
My question the other day is still valid however, although I may not be making sufficient allowance for the pace of business practices in the Philippines. However, even allowing for that, I note that MML, also operating in the Philippines,were granted a permit for their Kamarangan deposit (similar to Mapawa..porphyry copper/gold) in June 2008...they reported the results of their first drilling in August 2008! The Mapawa permit was first granted in May 2009, it wasn't until late November that drilling rigs were mobilised, and nearly 3 months later, we still have no results.
I am not bagging management, just asking pertinent questions which is every shareholders' right.
