In today's AFR Weekend article headed "Downer loses two bosses in a week", Morningstar's head of equities, Peter Warnes, says that "Downer had potential, but it's management needed 'a clean out from top to bottom' and that the company's low share price made it vulnerable to a takeover bid. 'PE [private equity] would just come in there, clean it out, and float that back within two years and probably turn a billion-dollar profit'."
