DOW was always massively underrated and undervalued. There is no real alternative or competitor with the same moat across the landscape down in Australia so Governments have no choice but to deal with Downer.
Downer has always been more associated with the ALP side of politics especially the ALP NSW Right wing faction based out of Sydney but also has tentacles to ALP and left Wing LNP Governments in Queensland, Victoria and WA as well.
Used to be involved in resources sector as contractor of choice so would be logical fit for solar.
